2014 – Grand Depart at 7am on September 14th, 2014 

6 racers started and 5 racers finished the GD in 2014.  Although the wind was howling on San Joaquin Ridge, the weather was fantastic – so much better than 2013.

• Ryan Floyd -8 hours 5 min
• Jen Girard – 5 hours 43 min = new female course record – way to put the smackdown, Jen!!
• Eric Hunter – 6 hours 7 min – congrats Hunter on beating your time from last year!
• Anthony Howley – 7 hours 20 min
• Alan Jacoby (singlespeed) – 5 hours 31 min = bettered his ss record and new overall course record
• Tom McDonald – DNF – bailed at San Joaquin Ridge, had to drive back to San Diego for work the next morning, didn’t wanna push it – we’ll see ya next year Tom!!

2013 – Grand Depart at 7am on September 29th, 2013

All 9 racers that started the  Grand Depart completed it.  Everyone braved super cold, windy, and snowy conditions.  Congrats to all!!
